Great opportunity missed…No iPad version with CoreMidi support = no sale.
Btw; The only reason I can think of for NI not releasing fully featured iPad native iMachine is that it would rival similarly sized hardware and therefore canibalize the sales of the “real” thing…
What a shame 🙁
And you sure did spam every music blog out there about it. You know you could’ve just asked N.I. about it.
they’d probably make more money overall in app sales if they’d scrap the hardware altogether.
Per their site will be released Oct 1st @ $4.99 USD
Thanks for the heads up but I’m not interested in NI anymore. I’ve lost total faith in NI since they discontinued Kore. Well that was the final straw anyway. They’re not getting another cent from me.
Sounds like it’s only useful as a tie-in to the full version of maschine, which is too bad. NI is so over the top with it’s strategy. I wish they would just focus in on around 10 good instruments rather than pooping out new versions of the same stuff into a giant pile that nobody could possibly use all of.
