Tempo Rubato has announced updates to NLog Synth PRO and NLog MIDI Synth for iPad and iPhone/iPod touch.
The updated versions will offer improved collaboration features, with better MIDI support, audio background operation, MIDI clock and Korg’s WIST technology.
This will allow you to play NLog synths, in the background, using a controller app, via a virtual MIDI connection. This will allow you to run a sequencer app like Genome in the foreground, controlling NLog, running in the background.
Tempo Rubato says the updates will be available in the App Store on Friday, Sept 16th.

I’ve been waiting for this impatiently and it was worth it 🙂
Now I can sequence MODrum, Bassline and NLog in Genome.
Still waiting for Sunrizer VM update to show up – hopefully later today…
Have you tried sequencing the apps at the same time?
I’m wondering if a 1st gen iPad has a chance of handling this.
Providing you don’t have anything else running in the background, iPad 1 can handle all above mentioned apps running in perfect sync with Genome. Love it 🙂
Sunrizer 1.3 is waiting for review.. Will be available next week
That is good news, but I thought it was submitted a week ago… You’ve gotta love Apples approval process 😉
Btw; Genome update is awaiting approval as well…
