IK Multimedia has released SampleTank Free – a multi-timbral sound module for iOS.
SampleTank Free includes 8 instruments (4+4 when you register) and over 400 patterns. You can also expand your sound library via in-app purchase with SampleTank full sound set or you can choose your instrument a-la-carte between 22 Sound Packs. Options include Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano, Electric Piano, Organ, Chromatic, Strings, Brass, Woodwinds, Synth Leads, Synth Pads, Trons, Voices, Ethnic, Percussion and Sound FX, or you can get the complete SampleTank Sound Packs bundle.

That’s really disappointing. Annoying spam popups (in-app purchase), hanging UI elements. The app is huge but there are only a few sounds. I don’t see the point.
i downloaded the app, but i cant figure out a way to load my own samples ? is this only available in the full versions? The pop ups are at least strange^^ also the UI is kinda strange
the are so many nice samplers and mpc like apps out in the app store, i wonder if they even looked at them before making their own app
