2012 NAMM Show: Recording microphone manufacturer MXL has announced the upcoming release of the Trio, the latest in the iPad-compatible USB condenser microphones. The Trio, which also works with PC and Apple computers, is specially designed to also work with both versions of the iPad (1 and 2).
Made with a rugged all metal design, the Trio is designed with the traveling recording artist in mind, as well as podcasters and consumers who want web chat using services like Skype, with high quality voice reproduction.
The Trio allows users to record on-the-go into their iPad using the Camera Connector Kit. A zero latency headphone jack is built into the body of the microphone. The user plugs their headphone directly into the mic to monitor their recording, a feature not all USB mics have.
Features:
- iPadĀ® compatible
- PC and MacĀ® OS compatible
- Ideal for vocals & podcasts, web & video chats
- Built-in high fidelity headphone jack
The MXL Trio will be available in late January 2012, with an MSRP of $99.95.
