Just a reminder that The Bob Moog Foundation has its 2012 calendars on sale for 50% ($10).
The calendar, Moog Pioneers in the Studio, features vintage shots of pioneers of electronic music in their studios, along with commentary from BMF Executive Director Michelle Moog-Koussa and Historian Brian Kehew.
Purchases help support the Foundation’s missions of establishing a Moogseum, preserving Moog’s archive and helping kids learn about science through sound.
The Foundation is also running an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds for their SoundSchool program. See the campaign site for details.
At first the only things i saw were “moog”, “50%” and “off”. Then i read the rest. A bit of an anti-climax. Oh well…
Who buys hardware calendars anymore!`? Even at discounts they are so much more expensive than software calendars.
Yeah, sure, the hands-on approach brought by hardware calendars is wonderful, and they’re often very intuitive and fun to use, but why spend all that money when you can have a just as decent software knockoff for cheap, or free?
I even have a calendar in my iPhone!!!
If ever there was an indication of navel gazing, it’s producing a paper calendar for tech based people in 2012.
