In this video, Russ from airusersblog does a quick demo of the recently updated Neyrink V Control Pro app for iPad.
V-Control Pro is an app that offers a full-featured, multi-touch control surface for Pro Tools, Logic 9, and Cubase/Nuendo. V-Control Pro uses WiFi to control transport, editing, and mixing functions.
V-Control Pro can also control sends, automation, groups, auditioning, plug-ins, jog/scrub/shuttle, I/O assignment and other controls.
Here’s what’s new in V-Control Pro 1.5:
- V-Window – Provides window control for plug-ins, surround panners, and any other windows.
- MultiPanel – New multi-purpose view for a better organized GUI.
- Additional DAW Support – Live, Reason, Reaper, Studio One, FL Studio, Tracktion.
- Logic Improvements – Instrument parameter editing, counter jog/scrub control.
- Pro Tools Improvements – Full-screen surround panner control. Sticky modifier buttons.
V-Control Pro is $49.99 in the App Store.
like he said…”if you’ve got fingers like mine” and yes, sadly we all do.
Hi.
Thanks for the Video on V-Control Pro.
I’ve been using this app mostly with Logic 9 on my ‘New’ iPad for a couple of months now. It’s the nicest controller I’ve used since controllers started coming out.
I also like to use Sibelius 7.2, and I have both Logic and Sibelius open on my Mac, and have Sibelius open in the V-Window, which is quite handy.
The simple thing I really like, is the Save button turning red, showing that I should save my work, having done something that needs a Save. This is not working when I use V-control with Cubase, but does work with Pro Tools 9 and Logic.
Good work, Neyrink!
I’ve setup TouchOSC and Osculator for Sibelius, but would love to have a well made app (V-contro) to work directly with Sibelius.
Thanks!
Dennis
Have to chime in on an old thread for anyone searching about this controller. It is great. Best logic controller for iPad, and I have all of them. So easy to use, love it.
Does V Control work with Garageband?
Thanks.
