This movie is the first episode of a three part tutorial that looks at how to build a drum rack preset, with your own samples, in Ableton Live.
In the first video, three instrument racks are combined into one drum rack, which is triggered using a MIDI clip on the track, and mapped in such a way that the macros controls can be used to switch the kick, hat and clap in the break.

The second video looks at how to use a synth producing a low frequency sine wave to beef up the kick, as well as how to apply EQing to make it chunkier and stand out more in the mix.
The last video looks at how you can add send effects to return tracks in the rack, so that some stereo delay can be used to create extra width and parallel compression applied for extra fatness.
