Here’s a sneak preview of u-he’s The Dark Zebra software synthesizer – a Zebra2 soundbank created by Hans Zimmer and Howard Scarr for the soundtrack to The Dark Knight Rises.
A few of the clips reveal ZebraHZ features that are not present in the regular Zebra2.
The Dark Zebra synth will be available starting July 23rd, 2012 at the u-he site for $99. .
Note: Running the HZ version of this plugin requires a license for Zebra2.
Some of the best sounds I’ve heard in a long while.
I noticed on the credits for the film that Zimmer and Scarr are credited for “Synthesizer Programming”,
which, of course is all due and correct. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other films that had this title credited?
They were inspired by Trent.
