This is a sneak preview for Muza – an upcoming music instrument and MIDI controller for the iPad, iPhone & iPod touch.
Features:
- 200+ samples
- 3D design with 18 different color and light schemes
- 26 musical scales including Pentatonic, Hexatonic and Octatonic scales
- “Harmony” instrument that was made specially to generate ‘sweet harmonies’.
- Easy to use side keyboard “Stripe” that allows you to play up to 4 notes in a selected scale.
- 2 extra pads for one-shot or looped samples and a pitch wheel.
- MIDI support – Connect your Muza to Ableton, Cubase, FL Studio, Reaper or any other digital audio workstation (DAW) via MIDI! You can also connect to hardware synthesizers using third party midi interface.
- Customizable 3D design – you can select color scheme and adjust light condition to suit your mood.
Muza is expected to be available Aug 1st. Pricing is TBA. See the Muza Music site for details.
My question is, can it still stay in scale mode once it’s controlling a DAW? are there any good iOS MIDI controller apps out there that let you select scales?
Hi!
Yes, Muza always works in a selectable scale, MIDI or stand alone.
