I sure hope he wears a grounding strap when playing that! Very cool. Years ago, a friend had an ARP 2600, an ARP expander and their sequencer. His daughter of just past 4 came in one day and when I asked her what she thought of it, she said “Oh, that’s just Daddy’s busy box.” Smart kid! Synths are *supposed* to be “busy.” Music does children a lot of good in subtle ways. My inner child eats it up and is not in prison, because he has something productive to do.
the wonders of modular synthesis…..for the price of bmw one can make step sequenced sounds like those of a cracked version of fruity loops.
You can also do wonderful things with a modular that you can’t do with either a BMW or a cracked version of Fruity Loops.
The BMW M-series has CV-out though…
Looks like that scene at the end of Close Encounters of the Third Kind
