Here’s a new synth jam video, via Rutger Muller, that features the new Korg iPolysix.
iPolysix is a virtual studio, based around a soft synth version of the classic Korg Polysix.
It’s worth noting that Muller performs the track, Submarine Drift, on a first generation iPad.
Looks very awkward to use, but because it is an apple product we must give it much praise and not allow criticism.
@Mono phreak: It’s an app synth, what’d you expect, a neural interface?
Sounds legit.
apple product? a-ha.
oh, didntchaknow, the iPad has physical knobs on it now that they bought Korg…..
is this cat serious?
Apple product? No, Korg. Do you also believes Microsoft makes Cubase and Reason?
It sounds pretty solid, imho. Also: thanks you Korg for making an app that still runs on my humble 1st gen ipad.
Nice.. I didn’t know Korg had released this. But after hearing it, I went straight to the app store.. Haven’t purchased yet but probably will. The Polysix was used by Hashim, one of my favourite electro artists from the 80s.
yeah i boughty this instantly. grooves you can get out of it are ridiculous. few strange omissions but this is like a personal present for me. my dream app.
Cool groove, great sounding app!
