Here’s an overview and review of the new Traktor DJ for iPad via DJ Tech Tool’s Ean Golden.
Traktor DJ basically offers Traktor’s classic feature set – beat matching, key detection, two-deck mixing, 8 effects, per-channel filter & EQ, beat grids & cue points – with a touch interface. It does’t offer the features of the latest Traktor Pro 2, but is designed to share work with Traktor Pro 2.
Traktor DJ requires iOS 6 or higher, iPad 2 or later, or iPad mini. 500 MB free storage/disk space is recommended.
Traktor DJ is available now in the App Store for $19.99. If you’ve tried Traktor DJ for iPad, leave a comment and let us know what you think of it!
If the guy would stop talking i might actually want to watch the vid… But luckily i dont have to because by now there are 10 vids out there not taking themselves so fkn seriously. Btw. You call that crap behind you “gear”?!
How are you supposed to cue tracks with a single stereo output (i.e. no headphones)?
The same way you do with a computer dj setup, by using an audio interface.
They’ve got diagrams on their site, if you’re not familiar with using an audio interface.
