Yellofier – Boris Blank’s sampling instrument for the iPad – has been updated, adding AudioBus and more.
Now you can stream and receive live audio directly to and from other Audiobus-compatible apps.
Here’s what’s new in Yellofier 1.1:
- Background audio
- Audiobus support!
- Preview sounds in pattern editor when tapped
- Improve drag detection in arrange view
- Various minor fixes and improvements
Yellofier is available for $2.99 in the App Store.
If you’ve used Yellofier, leave a comment and let us know what you think of it!
this is one of the apps I am PRAYING for MIDI sync. if i could use this live with werkbench on my other ipad, i would be in sample heaven………..would love to contact the dev to see if this is possible
Awesome update! I love yellofier for working quickly. I was getting a lot of good results with just the built in mic, but it’ll be great to use other recordings I’ve made with a nice mic and use other programs like bitwiz too.
We need massive pitch resampling up and down though. Surely Yello knows the joys of that, oh yeah? 🙂
Great app – thanks for the cool update. One feature I’d like is to see what the fx are, rather than an arbitrary icon. Even if it’s just a pop-up label when the effect is selected would be helpful.
