I like this mopho ad !
Beautiful !
Why would I prefer to “tweak” the CO filter using the mouse..If I have one in my Synth?..why??????
Hang on a minute. At 30 seconds he says the Reason MIDI device doesn’t support SysEx. So the video uses a synth that really only works with SysEx? There about 4 messages you can send to the MoPho without SysEx, and those are coarse without it. Love the synth, but it’s the _wrong one_ to use to demo your non-SysEx capable MIDI software.
You mean there is about 40 messages that can be sent to the Mopho 😉
But you are right, just coarse values (as always with midi)
The other parameters use nrpn, not sysex.
But I don’t think this is what the demo want to shows.
I’m more concerned by the “only one CC knob for each rack unit”.
You’re right, I did mix up SysEx for NRPN. Oops. But I know I haven’t seen 40 mappable 7-bit MIDI parameters in the manual, or working with my MoPho. It’s been a while, but I think the only things I could map were cutoff, resonance, mod wheel, and pitch bend.
Yeah, one mappable knob in the software is even lamer than (potentially) no NRPN support.
