ConCon features workshops, demos and discussions during the day, and performances at night:
- Workshops featuring Roland, Korg, Native Instruments, Abelton, Livid Instruments, Numark and many others, on topics such as Building Your Own Controller (BIY), MAX/Monome setups, and Light Theremin Construction with Moldover, just to name a few.
- Demos: Moldover, Henry Strange, Laura Escude, Stretta and many others will also be demonstrating and talking about their gear.
- An open-panel discussion on the past, present and future of Controllerism moderated by Moldover.
- Performances in the evenings by Moldover, Daedalus, Henry Strange, Laura Escude, Strella, and others.
Software and hardware companies will also give hands-on demos during the day and be on hand with display tables. There will also be giveaways of gear and software.
A limited number of $80 Early-Bird tickets (through July 7) are available for a Three Day Pass. Regular tickets cost $100 thereafter until the day of the event. More information is available at the Con Con website.
Update: ConCon organizers wanted us to share that they’re “still looking for more performers for ConCon.” Contact them a message via their FaceBook page.
