Definitely good for KMI to get a serious MPC user in to demo the QuNeo. When it comes to pad controllers made by companies other than Akai, you really just don’t know the quality of what you’re buying. I know KMI is generally committed to good quality but so are other companies and their pad controllers just don’t measure up. I have a Korg padKontrol and while it has lots of nice features, the pad spacing isn’t right and the rebound isn’t great– a pad controller can be feature rich but if it doesn’t “feel” right those features don’t mean squat. False triggers, missed triggers, rebound, spacing, and velocity accuracy are all important factors and the only people that can accurately test those qualities are professional MPC users.
This guy has skills!
Great performance with a great controller!
