Today the Bob Moog Foundation unveiled its 2014 calendar, which highlights “the history, functionality, and beauty” of the early Moog modules.
The newest BMF calendar commemorates fifty years since Dr. Moog and collaborator Herb Deutsch first created a series of sound modules for use in electronic music. These modules were demonstrated (fifty years ago, duh) at the 1964 Audio Engineering Society convention
The $20 calendar features modules from Erik Norlander’s massive Wall of Doom modular synthesizer, photographed by Shaun Hollingsworth (SIC) Images. More information is available at the BMF website.
