    1. Yeah, I find it a bit odd that they’re offering this as a ‘launchkey promo video’ rather than a ‘mini SERIES promo.’ Nice if they include velocity on the launchpad mini, but I doubt it – nobody would buy the launchpad S! I expect they’ll release the pair for $100 each.

Also… reading into this a bit – they clearly state the pads are velocity sensitive but stay mum on whether the KEYS are… hmmm.

  1. I’m the homeless guy in the video and you can tell by the look on my face that even I was like ok please play something else already …

  2. 13 minutes of randomly sampled youtube audio files. Nice.

Next time release a 8-note mini keyboard with a 40 min video promo with 5 homeless people.

  3. DOH!

I’m the editor and I forgot to splice all the different scenes together into one short video!

    Novation just sacked me :((

  4. Cool controller, terrible promo!

Note to Novation: Next time, have the guy use the portable setup someplace fun. By the time he was making music in the stairwell, it looked like he blew his rent money on gear!

  5. Mmm…Let me find the most difficult places to sit and find out how long it takes my body to cramp up.
Not too many specs available on the website. MIDI in for pad feedback? No CV/Gate out.

  6. Um Hmmm, there’s nothing like the smell of a homeless person to inspire you. They’re focusing on the launchpad so much you don’t notice the keyboard. Do they even want to sell these things?

  7. The first time he created this tune, was in the privacy of his own water closet, all alone locked up with his music gear. Seriously, I am a huge fan of Novation but sorry pigeons just don’t do it for me.
Guys, what message are you trying to convey here?

  8. The worse promo video ever!!!!! The same song several times in 13 mins video without focusing on the keyboard itself with a shitty music.
And that guy looks the most sad and alone person ever.

  9. I’m the cabbie in this video, and they never paid me but promised album credits instead. I’m gonna be famous and not have to drive mongoloid musicians ever again.

  10. Ok, so, the Launchkey Mini allows me to do uncomfortably in 13 minutes what I could otherwise only do comfortably do in five minutes at home.

Seriously, the gear looks nice, but what a useless video.
