Australian app developers iThirtySeven have announced an update to their iPro.DJSampler.

What’s new: Version 1.1 of the iPad app now includes a free effects pack (which includes Reverb, Flanger, Delay, Filters, among other effects), along with a “wicked Free EDM” sample pack and Audiobus support.

In our initial story about the app when it first debuted, developers explained that iPro.DJSampler was designed with DJs and musicans in mind, for live use in their performances. Features within the App include an XY Pad to control Effects to “trick up” samples, fast loading of sample packs, and a “powerful” Time-Stretch feature.

Users can buy additional features and sample packs in-App, including EDM, Dubstep, Electro, Dutch House, Rap and Vocal sample packs, along with many “big DJs, artists and labels.” Two new sample packs available in this manner include the Melbourne Sound Sample Pack (the city where iThirtySeven is headquartered), and a DJ Puzzle Trap Sample Pack.

Pricing and Availability. The iPro.DJSampler v 1.1 is free, and available now in the Apple App Store. It includes Audiobus Support, Effects Pack #01 (including Reverb, Flanger, Delay, Filters & more) and an EDM Sample Pack. Additional sample packs are available for in-app purchase at $0.99 and up.
