That’s a fraction of what you have on stage with a string quartet. Electronic musicians deserve great instruments too!
That’s more like it. I sigh over ‘alternate’ controllers a lot because they are often flash-in-the-pan items that never develop their own lexicon. These three brought the E-harp closer to the elegance it has on tap, no pun intended. It really is a multi-dimensional tool and this piece showed that off well. Now, if only someone would use one to ROCK and set fire to a whole new realm of players by devising a Keith-Emerson-modular-style breakthrough that said “HERE is a major direction for this beast!” I wanna hear a little more FIRE. Sometimes porcelain tea cups get old and you need a tankard of tequila.
