Sounds great, but i’d put more swing on the drums.
Great Job. I would have spent some more time on mixing.
Well, I have grown up with TD and over the years they have managed to influence me in more ways than any other electronic group. I understand that it is not an easy task to recreate their compositions, but I’m sorry to say that this one falls way short. Good effort though, keep working on it.
I would have spent the time writing an original track.
Unless you improve upon, or take a new direction, cover versions are ultimately a complete waste of time. People listen to them once, generally say negative things, such as the comments above, and then forget about them.
Electronic cover versions of electronic tracks always struck me as pointless, unless brilliantly reimagined.
Next time he should write something original, then it won’t be compared to anything else and can stand on its own merits. He’s clearly got the playing skills.
