This is exactly what I was waiting for – been planning to take the plunge on Lemur for some time, and I think the time is now! 😀
In theory it works on the iPad 1, so I will see if that is in fact the case…
I just hope they’re not lowering the price to create buzz before they announce “Lemur Pro.” ;-o
Works quite well on my iPad 1. In fact, it is the reason I keep my 1st gen around. It certainly runs better on the Air, but I haven’t experienced any issues on the original. Your network connection (assuming you wi-fi it to your workstation) should prove to be the tightest bottleneck.
still expensive. cut another half
not really expensive at all… consider the price of the jazz mutant and the fact that liine made the unit obsolete in order to stay with the market… then you could always take into account how good it is, how much better it is than the next competitor on the market… its worth it at $50…
Nice price drop, but still no Live 9.1 support… 🙁
sounds nice, but as an Ableton Live user only, I found touchAble 2 a million time better than livecontrol 2 on the Lemur, not mentionning that L2 doesn’t work with latest live 9.1…
Some will argue that Lemur can control any kind of Midi softwarew, it’s true, but touchAble can do it as well now, I made a tempalte to control Traktor in Sync with Ableton Live, wicked. Lemur is very advanced but requires too much learning curves, and I want to make music so…
