2014 NAMM Show: Here’s a quick video preview of the Buchla iProgram – a new expansion card for the Music Easel that brings patch memory and WiFi connectivity to the analog modular system.
This opens up a whole new world of possibilities for the classic modular design. For example, in the video, Buchla guru Todd Barton demonstrates using iPatch, an iPad application that lets you control the Music Easel wirelessly.
It’s expected to be priced at $599 and to be available within a few months.

That’s the size of the card? It’s like they sat the freakin ENIAC on top of it?! I am sweating over that easel though!
Santa’s in town.
It would be nice if they made an app that created sound instead of just storing presets.
It would sell like hot cakes.
Mr.Bat,turn up your damn microphone !!
That looks so interesting. I would never be able to afford a Buchla, but it’s just sweet to see such old tech married to new tech.
