Korg has teamed up with SoundCloud to on a worldwide Korg Gadget contest.
The Korg Gadget for iPad Remix Contest runs from February 28 through March 31, 2014. Prizes include an array of Korg gear.
Contestants can enter by remixing any of the official demo songs that are pre-installed on Gadget for iPad and then uploading the remixed track to GadgetCloud.

KORG taktile-25, KORG volca keys, KORG volca bass, KORG volca beats, 2-year SoundCloud Unlimited Membership, a featured spot on Korg’s social channels and website
Second place:
KORG micro KEY-25, KORG MS-20 mini, 1-year SoundCloud Unlimited Membership, a featured spot on Korg’s social channels and website
Third place:

Always remixing tracks… It’s a bit boring.
yes, such a great app and yet they want re-mix instead of an original track? thats a bit of a well worn path of generating interest. i guess even if it was an original contest most folks would still vote for the typical pumped-up dance / house track. It would be interesting to have a contest for separate genres, even though I dislike specifying genres. my thinking here is there might at least be some other artists who get some recognition besides the artists who get noticed for the same beat dance and dubstep tracks.
