I would LOVE to know if this avoids the MIDI note hang/crazy octave shifts that the Alesis iO Dock is plagued with. Specifically when using the Animoog and Korg iMS-20 apps.
Have you updated your ioDock firmware? I had those problems with the early releases, but they went away after an update.
I’ve got one, but can’t get rca/cinch aux input to appear in apps….
Blargh. I wonder if a lightning-to-dock adaptor will work.
Also, why are they still including video out? It only works when playing a video file.
It wont mirror the screen, which is what I would want to use it for.
They included it cause Alesis did, and they just copy other companies products.
the new Alesis i/o dock does not have video
this is not a copy it is way better
also – the ipad will mirror apps not just video to the video output
– it works fine on my alesis i/o dock ver1
I wonder how powerfull a 100$ unite will be!
I can’t work out if this has the Thunderbolt connector for data and charging that’s on my model of iPad. Can anyone clarify? Thanks.
