Dutch synthesist Rene Splinter shared this video that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of his 2010 album, Transit Realities.
In the video, Splinter talks about the music on the album and takes a look at some of the (now vintage) gear that was used in making it.
Here’s what he has to say about it:
Last Sunday, I have released a new video in the series of my released albums. This time, it’s about my album ‘Transit Realities’, which was officially released in 2010, but was recorded originally in 1992 and 1993
This video has some exclusive footage from the nineties again, of the equipment that I used to make the album. Also I am going into details about the recording process, the restoration and the re-mixing processes. And I am re-discovering the KORG DSS1 sampling synthesizer.
You can find out more about Transit Realities at Splinter’s site.
