Fame Music and Mixmag have announced the World Electronic Music Contest – a global competition to find “the next big DJ/producer.”
Prizes in the contest include world DJ tour, including Ibiza, Las Vegas and Dubai; and an official release of the winning track internationally.
Contest Terms & Conditions:
- Countries allowed to participate: All
- Contestants must be over the age of 18
- Genres allowed to participate: Electronic Dance Music, Deep House, Ambient, Etno-electronic, New Age, New Wave, Lounge, Techno, House Music, Trance, Breakbeat, Dubstep, Drum’n’bass, Dance, Techno Hardcore
- Contestants can submit 1 track into the first round of the competition.
- Semifinalists need to upload a 20 mins mixtape by the 4th August.
- Finalists need to upload a 30 seconds video by the 11th August.
- Tracks entered must be the work of the contestants and the contestant warrants that the track submitted does not violate any copyright or other IP.
- Receipt of the prizes is subject to conditions.

Wow, Ibiza, Las Vegas, and Dubai. I guess places investigated by Human Rights Watch must be considered party towns, too, at least by foreigners with money.

Can see your point with Dubai but it’s been a party town for a while now… No one can be surprised it’s a dj “World Tour” destination.
