VirSyn has released a preview of Tera Synth – a software modular analog-modeling synth for iPad.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
Explore new sound spaces with Tera Synth that go beyond the emulation of synthesizer legends. Use the power of analog and digital synthesis combined with new modules for physical modelling.
Wireless patching of modules combined with an intelligible modulation routing simplifies the development of new synthesizer designs from scratch.
Tera Synth supports Audiobus and Inter-App-Audio for integration with other Music Apps.
Pricing and availability for Tera Synth are to be announced, but they say it’s coming ‘soon’.
Niiiiiiice!!!!
Sounds really good. Would have liked to have heard more of physical modeling examples (beyond the alien birds). Go VirSyn!
Awesome dear. Is tera synth works in Mac book air?
Release in approx. 4 days according to VirSyn (when asked on twitter).
Very nice virtual analog sounds.
Pads are nice but it lacks warmness in the bottom end.
It’s probably as great as it can be, probably even one of the greatest soft-synths. I actually haven’t seen/heard any software instrument which could make bass sound which sounds warm/strong/good.
Any FM synth, soft or hard, can make killer bass.
The other virsyn synths on iPad had a soft mussiness to them that I didn’t enjoy. I wonder if this one is the same?
I’d like to know how this compares to Tera on the desktop!
The manual is up on their site…
What a marvellous sounding synth it is. Cant wait
It’s available guys! Now playing…
