Here’s an overview and demo of the Erica Synths ACIDBOX synthesizer, via TV MASKAVA.
Erica Synths’ ACIDBOX is an emulation of the voltage-controlled filter from the most famous Russian synthesizer from 80-ties – Polivoks. It’s fitted in the small desktop unit and enhanced with tap-tempo LFO and external CV control.
For details on the ACIDBOX, see the Erica Synths site.
Woow! Someone in Latvia is making analog gear! This make me proud of my country 🙂
No MIDI 🙁
It has CV in. You can use any of KORG volcas or monotribe as your MIDI to CV clock solution.
Has external CV in for frequency control, i.e. you can get any filter envelope you like, by applying envelope here.
MIDI is overrated, CV is infinitely tighter!
80-ties? You the 80’s?
Ha! You *mean* the 80’s?
Uhm – what’s with his pants?
Oh man, as a person who is slavic, the mannerism of this guy is quite funny.
I think it’s intentional……yes funny….
Did he end by saying “Sieg heil to techno music”?!
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one a little perplexed by that!
Gasp….yes it sounds like it……
Why is he wearing a bum-bag in his own lounge room?
Best demo video I’ve seen in a while. C64!!??!! Highest achievement in Russian synthesizers! This dude rules!
