Sunday Synth Jam: This video captures a synth jam, Shades of Detroit, by UK producer A Guy Called Gerald (Gerald Rydel Simpson).
“Sorry this music has no guide rails for the new be dancer,” says Simpson, “but if you let go you might find you can fly to ;)”:
Amazing So good! wonder how all the percussive ebbs and flows are happening, if that’s all coming from the Tr8 and Sh1 plus tb 3s my mind is blown..
I see 1 of the sh1’s seems to be idling..
Looks like lots of fun
Looks like he is also doing stuff in Reason.
he loves reason.. he sometimes would perform with two computers each running Reason and he would have a DJ mixer in the middle..

Yes I saw him rock the Boiler Room in a vid on youtube with that setup. Reason in the hands of a skilled person is very powerful.
Nice work from Gerald. Thanks…
Gerald, is the man. Vodoo Ray, is and was, the tune that moved England .
It set the ball rolling.
On-camera audio? Seriously?! If there is one thing that pisses me off, it’s synth music on YouTube that doesn’t record direct audio. Argh…
Thats Valhalla
