2. I think you could just replace these guys with animated maniquines and get the same visual results. Maybe even better if the mouths actually moved.

      1. They used these when they played Detroit in 2003-ish, it was so tragic when one of the robots malfunctioned. Even Kraftwerk is vulnerable to glitches. Otherwise a stellar show, it was their first appearance here possibly ever, and every Detroit techno musician and DJ from the legends to the bottom tier seemed to be in attendance.
