Converse has launched its free online collection of high-quality audio samples, the Converse Rubber Tracks Sample Library, with over 11,000 free & royalty-free audio samples.
The library is massive, featuring over 10 days of one-shots, stems, and loops recorded at Converse’s Rubber Tracks Studio.
The library includes samples from Vernon Reid, James Poyser, Adam Blackstone, Daru Jones, Matrixxman, and other artists.
Coinciding with the Library’s launch, Rubber Tracks collaborated with over 20 artists, including RJD2, Com Truise, Body Language, Obey City, Nitemoves, and Shigeto to produce original songs using samples from the library.
Creators are free to explore, download, experiment, and create using library samples and can use the resulting works in unlimited ways.
See the Converse Sample Library site for details.
As the saying goes, ‘The more, the merrier’.
Nice Move, guys! 😀
Will have a listen.
holy crap/
thats it. i’m buying their shoes tomorrow. (my infant daughter already rocks baby chucks)
Wait, is there no way to download a whole session? Am I missing something? Because it looks to me like you have to download every sample individually?!?
There are some nice sounds on there, but good god that interface is awful.
http://www.downthemall.net/ or a search for ‘curl’ might help.
Haven’t tried this, but pretty sure it won’t work – there is a popup every 5 downloads or so that you have to click through. They’ve really thought through how to make this as frustrating as humanly possible.
Yeah, you should ask for your money back!
Oh wait..
Yeah, it says in their FAQ that they encourage individual downloads and browsing on the page, instead of mass downloading. I guess that’s understandable.
Sample packs are for tracers.
Yes, I’d love to use this but i’m not about to get 11,000 tracks one at a time. Can anyone find how to get it all at once, or at least pack by pack?
I find it cumbersome to have to down load samples individually. Or is there a way that I am missing?
So again, there’s no chance to get a bulk download there, right? Or did anybody figure out how to?
The site doesnt open
wow, some very nice sounds and line to find there!
Can someone please tell me how to download? I cannot figure it out!
Don’t use samples much, prefer synthesis but I’m loving that Com Truise track.
