Developer Alexander Nowak has updated Launch Buttons, a virtual MIDI grid controller, to add compatibility for iOS 6 and 7.
When Nowak originally introduced Launch Buttons for iOS and Android, it was only compatible with iOS 8. Now he’s updated it, for increased compatibility, based on user requests.
The update also delivers improved color-coding. The Android version has also been updated.
Here’s a video demo for Launch Buttons:
Nowak says he is open to other user requests. You can contact him at mss.geoteach at gmail.com.
Launch Buttons is available for both iOS and Android for US $4.99.
I see Launch Buttons for $4.99 in the Apple Store, FWIW
Updated – the $1.99 was apparently an introductory price.
App Store sez $4.99, not $1.99
When is someone going to make an app like this that allows you to install your own samples into the app itself and give you monome mlr functions? the launchpad app allows you to install samples but the triggering is not there, as popular as grid MLR triggering is I’m surprised that no one is interested in filling the huge gap in iOS, there should be all kinds of monome emulators on iOS by now, apparently nobody wants to make some easy money and put some apps like that out. 🙁
Hey mate, I am the dev of the app mentioned above and I’d be interested in your ideas about all that. Just hit me up and we’ll see what I can do 🙂
Many thanks for the iOS6 love because I can’t stand the look of iOS 7/8!
