I have written this before and I will do it again 🙂
Akai! Stop wasting your money in development in a software controller and give us that new standalone MPC we are waiting for 🙂
Too early for that, it makes more sense to bring out the best of the current mpc hardware by improving the software
Are these guys humans? 🙂
Not anymore. Their minds have been hosted in a PC-based software environment for several years now. ????
I’m not listening until I hear something about MPC6000.
Boy these guys love Maschine

gotta love these guys
I understand there is about to be a light weight 10 output sampler coming out called the MPC 8000.
Akai are back on form if these rumours are true.

Where did you hear this rumor about the 8000?

That’s the rumored Ren 2, not a new hardware w/10 outs.
Shades off, get hypnotized. Shades on, you the viewer are already hypnotized. Shades off again to un-hypnotize the viewer. Message: Maschine 1 is uncool / too old but Kontakt 5 and Massive are favorites.
Akai have a long list of excellent instruments but still. I was more of an Emu user back in the dark ages. At least today, Akai still make instruments and software! As for Emu, what a shame…
*Yawn*
P.s. These guys look really ill , and the shades thing…well.
Dtill waiting for a new “stand alone” MPC with 4+ MIDI out
