Alba Ecstasy has released a new sound library for the Roland Aira System-1 synthesizer.
The Roland System-1 sound library features 64 new patches for the System-1, demonstrated in the video above.
To use the presets you need the last 1.20 firmware update.
The Roland System-1 sound library is available for the introductory price of €8.50, normally €12.00. See the Alba Ecstasy site for details.
So has the system one now got the facility to hold more than eight patches in the memory?
8 is pityful
Yes, it has. They added it in the last software update.
since software version 1.2 the System-1 can hold 64 patches (8 banks x 8 patches)
Thank you ,
I wasn’t aware of that and it makes it a more attractive product as a result.
Roland also added 6 new waveforms:
•NOISE SAW: A sawtooth wave with movement similar to an analog circuit. Ideal for making fat sounds.
•LOGIC OPERATION: A waveform that uses a logic circuit to combine multiple waveforms.
•FM: A frequency-modulated waveform.
•FM + SYNC: Syncs a frequency-modulated waveform to the OSC pitch to produce a scale.
•VOWEL: A waveform similar to human voice.
•CB: A metallic one-shot sound.
Go System-1.!!

Like the FM. 😀
Wish they could add polyphony. This line by Roland is growing on me.
Roland Aira System-2:
8 voice poly, 4 octave keybed, vocoder, blue LEDs, pitch and mod wheels, coarse tuning knobs, more effects. Write your congressman.
4 notes is working out great so far. As cheap as they are you can buy two.
It has 4 note semi-poly when not emulating a mono.
Alba Ecstacy is a patch wizard. There’s new patch sets from Alba so often!
Thank you very much jo32! Your comment and Synthtopia’s post honors me.
Meanwhile I released 3 new packs: 2 free packs for System-1 & SH-101 plug-out and a new pack for BSII.
