In honor of Bob Moog’s 81st birthday on May 23, 2015, the Bob Moog Foundation is releasing prints and t-shirts, based on a vintage illustration of Moog.
The illustration, right, was drawn by graphic artist Jean-François Podevin as an illustration for the May 1977 issue of Synapse, ‘the electronic music magazine.’
Entitled Circuit of My Mind, the image is being made available in form of an 18? x 24? art poster and an artistic t-shirt.
Podevin notes that he drew inspiration for the image from the music of ‘the synthesizer pioneers’, including Wendy Carlos, Tangerine Dream & Klaus Schulze.
Details on the art prints & t-shirts are available at the Bob Moog Foundation site.
Very cool. I now have some Moog soft wear on order!
I kind wish it didn’t have the long quote on the back. I’d rather it just be a cryptic effect so folks would ask, “what’s the deal with your shirt?”
Otherwise I like it.
Then wear an unbuttoned flannel
More excited about this than about that sample pack!
Start renewing the world of synths again instead.
