Sunday Synth Jam: In this video, Markus Fuller, who is usually dissecting electronic music gear in his videos, shares his switched-on/classitronica style arrangement of Edvard Grieg‘s In The Hall Of The Mountain King.
Here’s what Fuller has to say about his version:
I decided to remake an old favourite on my synthesisers. in the hall of the mountain king by Edvard Grieg. recorded using Moog Theremini, Moog Phatty, Moog Sub 37, roland TR-8 & TB-3, & the Maplin 5600s, Maplin Spectrum Synth & a Bass guitar.
what beautiful synthesizer
that was very cool, great cover and it is also one of my favorites
Awesome!
Loved it – including the furry hat 🙂
I checked out some of this guys repair videos and they are pretty damn good.
Lots of tips and hints in them.
He uses an IR camera to check for components heating up, lets him find dead boards or overheated parts fast. Very cool idea.
Wow, Maplin 5600s, what a rarity.takes me back to very early 80s when I first saw it in E &MM magazine.Hats off ,thanks for this ????
