Make Noise shared this video demo for their new tELHARMONIC Eurorack module.
The Telharmonic is a three-voice synth module, inspired by Thaddeus Cahill’s Telharmonium (1897). It takes a new approach to handling music theory in the modular context. TONIC, INTERVAL, DEGREE and D-GATE, allow for patch-programming of complex chord progressions, scales, melodies and playing styles.
Pricing and Availability
Make Noise’s new Telharmonic module is available now from dealers worldwide for a suggested retail price of $349 US. For additional information, consult the MakeNoise website.
There are those that swear by modular synths…I, to this day, don’t get iy. It’s like stepping over a dollar, to pick up a dime. Just my ‘ opinion ‘
What are you trying to say, exactly? If your message was that other synths have 100x more value than modular… then I feel sorry, but I better step over your comment to read ones that make sense.
I have to admit, between this and mysteron I’m tempted to get another sound source for my little modular. This however definitely piques my interest a lot more than the mysteron for some reason. Tickles that old music theory fancy I have.
Just got one today. Playing with it now. Soooo much fun! Really packs a punch. Integrates quite nicely with other modules.
ARGH! My bank account! :’-(
