Synthesist Woob (Paul Frankland) let us know about a new soundtrack release, Adaption.

With Adaption, Woob mixes carefully crafted ambiences with sounds inspired by classic horror/thriller synth soundtracks.

Here’s what he has to say about the album:

‘Adaption‘ is a psychological thriller / horror musical adaptation of a story centered around a small coastal town’s abandoned video-arcade that mysteriously springs to life after midnight transforming all its unsuspecting visitors into the undead.

This is a Time Limited album and is available to download for just 90 days in its current form after which it will be dead.

The 8-bit sounding rhythmical synth line that plays throughout The Midnight Arcade is actually a Volca keys.
