This time-lapse video, via robotmakers, shows the last steps in assembling a large format (MU) modular synthesizer.
The modular features some 1990’s Moog modules and new Moon Modular modules for signal distribution. The cabinets are built by EMWhite.
The soundtrack is some of the first recordings of the new synth.
It sounds fantastic.
This one plays chords too, like the new Moog poly synth, right?
Is that the one that’s supposed to be like an updated Memorymoog?
Yeah. It’s supposedly going to be called the Opus 6. It has 6 voice polyphony, and like the Sub Phatty and Sub 37, it will have sub-oscillators. Still no word on the price. I’m guessing 3-4 grand.
Well I guess I have to make one now that I know how..
