Sunday Synth Jam: This video captures a video song style performance of I’ll See You In My Dreams, performed by Miguel d’Oliveira.
I’ll See You in My Dreams was written by Isham Jones & Gus Kahn in the 1920’s. It was also was featured in the 1952 movie of the same name, starring Doris Day.
Here’s what d’Oliveira has to say about his version:
My arrangement of my favorite song for: Minimoog, Vocoder, electric piano, ukulele and the granddaddy of drum machines, the Roland TR66. (+a few sprinkles of other synths here and there).
Nice! This brings a smile to my face. People doing what they love.
A nice song made funky & toe-tappaing!
Thanks.
I thought this was nice, but the really low pitch of the vocoder gave it a kind of unexpected horror movie sound o.O
Great job! I wanted it to go on!
