Here’s an official audio demo:
Orbis Wavetable Synthesizer is available in the Propellerhead Store for US $29.
This is nice BUT:
There should be an X/Y pad or joystick control on this, to implement a type of ‘Vector Synthesis’.
– then it could emulate the Sequential Circuits – Prophet VS.
– and should be able to modulate the 4-way mix of the 4 oscillators, with extra LFO’s or Envelopes.
* Actually it has already been done by Arturia with their virtual Prophet VS for PC and iOS !
My old PPG Wave 2.2 had the ability to route key follow to the wavetable. Which made strange and often interesting accents and rythmic feel to whatever you were playing. I miss that feature on many new wave table synths.
Good Idea!
PPG WaveGenerator can keytrack wavetables. Any wavetable synth with a mod matrix cn keytrack wavetables.
