AudioThing has introduced Hand Clapper – a drum synthesizer dedicated to claps sounds.
The internal design is inspired by the Boss HC-2. There are three internal noise sources that are used to recreate the classic sound of vintage analog drum machines. It’s also possible to load external samples and sculpt them with the same circuit emulation.
Specifications
- 4 sources: 808, 909, HC2, Custom
- 20 Factory Presets
- Tone bandpass/peak filter
- Vintage Reverb
- Preset system with randomizer
- Formats: VST, AU, and AAX (32/64bit)
- Platforms: OSX, Windows
Hand Clapper is available for OS X & Windows for US $20 (normally $25).
Anyone tried this yet?
great, now you Mac can have the clap
Wonder what the anti-virus will do?
Thats the biggest load of clap I’ve heard in a long time.
Sounds like a very expensive set of effects used on one bloody sample. I’ll stick to my real drum machine for the moment.
And yes I’ve spend 120 euro’s just to have a great kickdrum maker but that one really is worth it with lots of samples to pick from and amazing editing options, this just is too bare for the price
This would be fun to drop into an Ableton Live drum rack on certain kits.
I’m glad to know that it works for AAX.
