99Sounds has released Project Exodus, a free Kontakt library containing 127 royalty-free sample based patches designed to ‘add that earth shattering cinematic’ feel to music or video projects.
The library was crafted by Bryan Lake aka Sound Author, who is also the author of the previously released Project Pegasus sound library.
Project Exodus picks up where Project Pegasus left off, delivering an even bigger collection of blockbuster movie style atmospheres, pads, sound effects and cinematic loops. The library is organized into three subfolders containing soundscapes, instruments and sequences. All included sounds are royalty free.
Contents:
- 127 audio samples.
- 127 NKI patches (NI Kontakt 5).
- 24-bit WAV format.
- 44.1 kHz Stereo.
- 365 MB size on disk.
265 MB download size (RAR archive).
Project Exodus is available as a free download via 99Sounds.

Yes please and thanks
That’s a nice looking controller he’s playing — what is that?
The controller is an Arturia Keylab https://www.arturia.com/keylab61-be/overview
This is great!! my only difficulty is importing these as a library into kontakt… can anyone help?
unpack the rar to the folder where all your Kontakt librarys are. On OSX /Mac by default they are stored in /Users/Shared. Then watch this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jr9maN-qEcM
Hope this helps.
Can this be used on other VST Synths, or are the files Kontakt specific? I am using One Small Clue Grace to play my samples. Thanks!
