Beautiful tribute.
A beautiful tribute, Mr. Wakeman; thank you so much for sharing with the world.
Just wonderful. A sorrowful joy.
Thanks Rick.
That was very touching.
So full of tears now…
What a great interpretation, Thank you Mr Wakeman
Life on Mars is Bowie’s own interpretation of My Way (Paul Anka / Frank Sinatra, which was a cover from the french song Comme d’habitude from Claude François). Hence the same chord structure for both songs.
Beautiful.
Thank you for that splendid performance, Mr. Wakeman. I knew you wouldn’t hesitate re-learning it… 😉 Take care.
Such an amazing song and such a beautiful insight into just what went into the framework of a classic. RIP
Thanks Rick – that gave me tingles down my spine – tears to my eyes and above all the magic of such a beautiful piece of music that David made so famous – immaculate !!!!!
Brilliant stuff. No wonder Bowie had you play on the original. Masterful.
That should be released as a single with all proceeds going to charity. Beautiful.u
Tears of joy and sadness are flowing like the rivers of time…endlessly. The beauty of this song blossoms with the love you give Rick…thank you for your gift. Bowie knew you are magic!
