I absolutely love this kind of music. It’s my favorite! I really enjoy the Sub-37 every time I hear it in this type of context especially.
Hi, not truly related to the post but, does someone has a link to somebody playing a modular synth with a keyboard? I mean, like they would a minimoog (or like this guy with the sub 37), no sequences. I’m trying to shake off the impression that a modular synth is useful only for sequences but it hasn’t been an easy task.
I use my modular as a super-powered monosynth all the time. Works a treat!
For non-sequenced modular wizardry, check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLT3Cb96-Mk, from about 16:08 on (and various other places throughout the piece.)
check out holy ghost. and of course emerson lake and palmer.
love these video! fresh sound and talented performer.
