So why is a MIDI-to-Bluetooth converter Mac-only ? Surely it shows up as a Bluetooth MIDI device to the host O/S ? If not, why not ? And will there be drivers for Linux or Windows ?
Any advantage or additional functionality to this over the Yamaha MD-BT01 or the Quicco mi.1 that cost half the price?
what exactly is the minimum latency in msec, on a MIDI event message (Note ON, controller, etc), in the best circumstances? Have you measured latency in different setups, and if so, is that information published or available?
plain and simple, until said implemented MIDI wireless standard SURPASSES the latency of a hardware serious use cases are limited — though, this near latency-free future appears close ahead… hoping.
