This video, via Reverb, takes a look at a vintage 1979 Roland System 100M modular synthesizer.
Video Summary:
With a unique array of modules like a ring mod, 16-step to 2×8-step sequencer, and two single voice modules with VCO, VCF, and VCA, the 100M was presented as a small-studio modular system in contrast to their System 700.
Check out the video to hear some funky sounds, courtesy of the 100M and Chad Allen of Switched On.
You know what would really make this modular even more awesome? Say it with me… D-BEAM
D-Beam is like cowbell for synths but it’s probably in less songs.
I’m guessing this is the same model for sale

Yikes 6 grand!
A little rich for my blood.
Definitely not $6000 worth of funky.
