In collaboration with artist and sound designer Daniel Stawczyk a.k.a. Status, Applied Acoustics Systems has released their Synbiosis sound bank for the Chromaphone 2 synthesizer and AAS Player plug-ins.
Synbiosis is sound designer Daniel Stawczyk’s fifth volume in AAS’ Sound Bank Series and his first one for Chromaphone. This 130-preset collection includes arpeggiators, basses, bells, keys, synths, and effects.
Pricing and Availability. AAS’s Synbiosis sound bank is available now via the Applied Acoustics Systems website. Regularly priced at US$39, now through April 11, the Synbiosis sound bank is bundled with every purchase of the new Chromaphone 2 acoustic object synthesizer.
The instant download delivery package includes both a Chromaphone 2 bank file and the free AAS Player plug-in. The AAS Player plug-in runs on both Windows and Mac OS X and supports the VST, Audio Units, AAX Native, and RTAS plug-in formats.

I updated to v2 and got this bank included. I was just listening to a sampling of them. They are organized into 8 banks. And the ones I heard all sound really nice. It’s a cool synth and these patches sounded very musical and useful. I don’t use arps, but even the arp patches sounded great after the arp was switched off.
If you like Chromaphone2 and hate programming, this is a vey nice collection.
