Lyrics:

Stay in the shadows
Cheer at the gallows
This is a round-up
This is a low flying panic attack
Sing a song of sixpence that goes

Burn the witch
Burn the witch
We know where you live

Red crosses on wooden doors
If you float you burn
Loose talk around tables
Abandon all reasons

Avoid all eye-contact
Do not react
Shoot the messengers
This is a low flying panic attack
Sing a song of sixpence that goes

Burn the witch
Burn the witch
We know where you live
We know where you live

  1. Re-purposed? there has been plenty of stop motion animation with dark overtones in the past. the animation technique isn’t being re-purposed it’s just being used.

    1. You may have missed the point completely

This is in the style of the happy 60’s stop motion classics – not a modern style like things like Corpse Bride or Coraline.

Regardless of that – why do you think everything has to be a ‘first’ anyway? Everything is a remix. Appreciate it for what it is – a nicely-crafted video for a good Radiohead song.

        Moral Orel anyone?

  2. Is this linked to the people that did the likes of Camberwick Green? I’d swear I saw Windy Miller in there somewhere! Great vid, although as usual with a Radiohead video I’m not fully sure I understand what was going on.

    1. –> MOST overrated? HA!
Perhaps true from some jaded and delusional perspective. I actually don’t even like Radiohead in the slightest, and I can not agree with this statement.
There are countless artists and bands that have much less skill or talent and still have fans (and high ratings [where? –> Rolling Stone?, Billboard?, Sputnik?, NME?, etc.])

Too many bands to list, really.

    2. There are a lot of hyped bands to consider!

Whether or not they’re hyped, though, they deliver on a lot of fronts: good songwriting, interesting textures and sounds, thoughtful videos, etc.

I guess I’m saying that there are a lot worse bands that have been hyped to hell!

  3. I don’t understand: Radiohead are somehow getting _better_ as time goes on. Aren’t they supposed to be useless old dudes by now?

    1. You can use Proflox which is a plug-in for your (google) browser. Once that activated, you’ll get around this silly burden imposed in Germany.

  4. Good to see Radiohead finally tackling some 17th Century social issues. Hopefully the full album will address the injustice of the Salt Tax.
